There are many sites available to help out Wooters, especially during WootOffs. Many of us use Woot trackers to help take the load off of Woot's servers. The trackers update themselves every few seconds, so you don't have to keep refreshing your own browser. You can download a piece of software to do this for you, or you can simply use one of the many web-based trackers.
I currently prefer the FireFox Woot-tracking add in (you can alter the settings as you like) and mywoot.net, but to each his own. Many Wooters like the Wootalyzer (software application) as well. A text listing of the WootOff (and previous WootOffs) can be found here (sometimes): Link. A WootOff chatroom can be found at wootchat.com. And many, many Woot trackers can be found in the master list on the Woot! forums. And of course no list would be complete without mentioning the hard-working folks over at Woot-Wiki (who have SO much more time on their hands than I do.) If you'd like to make any additions, just post them in the thread below. |
